This is the second ultrasound I had done. This shows the irregular gestational sac, and what prompted the doctors to scare me so badly. They told me the baby would not likely survive the week. The heartrate was also slow at 120bpm.

I am home and feeling much better. Heres the story. We moved on the weekend of the 29th. On the 30th we went to Seattle for the opening day Mariners game. We planned on coming home after the game on the 31st. Well there is mountains in between home and Seattle, and only one highway going over them, we call it the pass. In the winter time, the pass sometimes closes due to weather. If the pass is closed, you basically have to go around the entire mountain range. Well the baseball game got over at about 7, we got to a town called North Bend which is normally about 45 minutes or so outside of Seattle at about 1030. @@ HUGE friggin snow storm. So we turned around and went back to seattle for the night. We had Alex (7), Alisha (13) and Kailyn all with us. So we got home Tuesday. I had my sono on Tuesday afternoon, and the baby is doing fantastic. heart rate was 160, I measured right on, and the gestational sac was perfect. Everything looked perfect. So Wednesday I took Kailyn to the park, and got home and started feeling pretty gross. Thursday I was puking so much I couldnt get out of bed. I started getting chills, body aches, diarrhea, and couldnt keep down anything at all. I thought "oh I am geting the flu" tried to eat and drink, didnt work. Friday night I got so bad that I just sat and cried on the bathroom floor. I couldnt move or sleep. First thing Saturday morning I went to the ER. They gave me an IV right away, and nausea medication. Then ran a bunch of tests. They determined I had an infection somewhere in my body, but they werent sure where. So they wanted to start me on antibiotics. I was still throwing up in the ER room. so they gave me two suppositories on top of the IV anti-nausea and I was still dry-heaving. So they admitted me. The next day was pretty much the same, and by day 3 in the hospital I was starting to feel like I was on the mend. They wanted to keep me that third night, but I asked very politely to go home. I was keeping down fluids and pills, and missed home terribly. So I was released with 6 different kinds of nausea pills and a diarrhea med. I had an ob/gyn from the practice I go to come and check on me and belly bean often, and he said that the baby was not affected by all of this. I am feeling better now. Still tired, still nauseous, but better.
