First regular OB appt

I had my first scheduled "regular" OB appointment today. I have been very nervous because I have been cramping pretty badly. To the point where it was making me lose my breath. (which is why I havent updated my pregnancy blog, because i thought the pregnancy was going to end :-/) The night before last I had a very vivid dream that the baby was big, and moving around, and I could feel it moving and just loved it. Then last night I dreamt that I went to the doctor and they found the heartbeat and it was 162. Today first I had my OB education appointment, where I was told "dont smoke, drink, do drugs, change kitty litter etc etc etc" then we went to lunch, then I had my appointment. I told the doctor that my biggest concern was the cramping. I told her all about it, about how it gets horrible when I am up and moving around, but a few minutes after laying down it feels better. I told her even walking a few feet causes cramping that feels like AF is here. She smiled and kept nodding. When I finished my huge long worry spiel that I had been holding in for four or 5 days, she kind of laughs a little and says "welcome to round ligament pain with your second baby! Its perfectly normal" I really liked this dr, she was very nice, and listened to all of my concerns without making me feel silly. She reassured me that this pregnancy is going to be more painful in that way, and the hip pain way because I am overweight and because this is my 2nd baby. Then she put the doppler on my tummy. I was so scared, I held my breath and prayed. Then we heard the thud thud thud real fast. It was so beautiful. I cried. The heartrate was 172! lol my dream was ten off! So everything is perfect! She okayed sex again now because I am 6 days away from being in my 2nd trimester, and she said the baby's heartrate was excellent, good and strong. So she said she is not concerned with that. I am still high risk, because of the infertility issues I had, but I am good to go for four weeks. My next appointment is the after we get home from Tennessee! Which I also okayed and ran by her. lol It was an overall excellent and relieving appointment.
