19 week doctors appt

I had my doctors appointment on Tuesday. It went well! BP looked good, and I am still down 5 lbs from pre-pregnancy weight, which is good. I talked to the doctor about labor and delivery, and he said that because Kailyn's shoulder got stuck when I was delivering her, that there is a 50-75% chance that it will happen again. I told him that I would PREFER a vaginal delivery, but if we needed to do a c-section for the safety of both of us, that would be fine. He said that what we will do is starting at about 32 weeks, he will do weekly ultrasounds to make sure that the baby is growing on target, head down, positioned perfectly. If I go in to labor and the baby is still positioned perfectly, then I can do vaginal, but if even one thing looks a little off, we will bail and do a c-section. He said that if the baby gets too big, then I will be induced early. During my ultrasound, baby weighed approximately 12 ounces, which is in the 85th percentile. So he said baby is already big, and the chances of induction because of size is very good. He also said that he would not be surprised in the slightest if I have gestational diabetes. I get tested for that at 28 weeks. If I fail that, then they will check baby's size again by ultrasound that day. The ultrasound looked great! The doctor's exact words were "your kid rocks!". Everything anatomically looked perfect. But as far as gender, the baby had its foot up under its butt, and would not show us. So I am going in for an elective ultrasound in Yakima tomorrow. I am super excited for that. The tech said she is 70% sure its a girl. I want higher odds than that! I am so excited for everything! I am also feeling the baby move regularly now. It is absolutely amazing. I love that feeling so much. Kevin felt it for the first time Monday night, and he was soooo excited. Things are fantastic!
