Incompetent Doctor

I called my doctors office, and they told me to get my booty to L&D asap. So off I went. They hooked me up to the monitors right away, and the nurses were all incredibly impressed at how awesome my little girls heart rate was at only 21 weeks with one of the strap on monitors. While hooking me up they said "dont be alarmed if we cant get it etc" and kept telling me that it would be hard to track her heart, and dont be alarmed, etc. But they were able to track it for most of the nearly 5 hours I was there. I was proud that her heart was that strong. Every person that came in commented on how awesome she sounded, which made me feel very good. Anyway, I peed in a cup, and it was so cloudy that you could barely see through it. They asked if I was dehydrated. I have made it a goal to drink 4 or 5 - 17 oz water bottles per day, and been doing so well. I am not dehydrated. so the nurse said UTI right away. After a little while, they noticed I was having contractions, not regular, not strong, but they were slightly painful and very uncomfortable. Felt like cramps. She said "I am sure the doctor will give you a shot of trebutaline (sp) when he comes in) Kept monitoring me. Finally the doctor came in and told me that I was not having contractions, my pee looked "Great!" and checked me with a speculum for leaking fluid, and did the finger test. Said all that looked good and I could go home. I was like "what?!" I am still extremely uncomfortable, in pain, and havent got any answers! He said that I need to come back if I have more than 6 contractions in an hour. I said "I am only 21 weeks!" he said that even a good, strong painful contraction once per hour regularly I do not need to come in. He repeated it like 5 times, 6 contractions in an hour. He said I was 100% perfectly normal, everything looked fabulous. I told him "its not fabulous staying up unable to sleep because of contractions and vaginal pressure all night, especially at 21 weeks!" His words were "well you should have come in then, when it was worse" I told him so having watery discharge out of nowhere to the point of wearing a pad, vaginal pain and pressure almost to the point of tears, contraction/cramp things all hitting within an hour of each other, and all hitting strong was PERFECTLY NORMAL?! He stared at me for a minute, then said "I suppose so." I was pissed. I asked him if he was going to culture my urine for a better look at if I have a UTI, and he looked at me dumbfounded and said "sure. I supposed we can do that" I looked at Kevin, and Kevin said "lets go" so we left. I didnt even wait for discharge papers. I just got up, got dressed and left. so MY PLAN is to take it very easy the next few days, and if my symptoms get worse or wont go away, then I will schedule an appt with a doctor that I trust. But in the mean time it IS good to know that my cervix is closed tightly, up high and thick, and that its not amniotic fluid leaking. I have no burning or anything when I pee, so if i do have a UTI, it is not flaring or whatever, and can wait until I see if this dimwitted asshole really is going to culture my pee or not. I was so mad when I left, and so frustrated, and so everything I just started crying. Doctors that dont care need fired. plain and simple.
